About Slightly Dangerous by Mary Balogh

In the sixth Bedwyn Saga novel, a country-house party brings Wulfric Bedwyn, Duke of Bewcastle, together with Christine Derrick, a widow and part-time schoolteacher. Christine is persuaded to attend when another guest is needed, though the duke and she seem an unlikely match from the start.

They clash, yet an attraction grows between them. The story follows Wulfric’s determined pursuit of Christine beyond the house party, in a Regency historical romance shaped by their struggle to find common ground. It will suit readers who enjoy period romance and an enemies-to-lovers dynamic.
