About Four Funerals and Maybe a Wedding by Rhys Bowen
Lady Georgiana Rannoch’s plans for a simple wedding to Darcy O’Mara grow more complicated when the queen and the princesses become part of the celebration. Before the wedding, Georgiana must also find a home for the couple.
An offer from her godfather seems to solve the problem: a country estate with a staff already in place. But Eynsleigh is in disarray, its staff raises suspicions, and a gas leak in Georgiana’s bedroom suggests that managing the household may be more dangerous than she expected. This historical cozy mystery follows her efforts to set the estate right while preparing to marry.
The twelfth Her Royal Spyness novel, published in 2018, should appeal to readers of historical mysteries, cozy crime, and stories that mix romantic plans with an unfolding investigation.
