About The Never Queen by Nikki St. Crowe
The fifth book in the Vicious Lost Boys series, The Never Queen is a darker, grittier reimagining of Peter Pan and Wendy, with aged-up characters. When the protagonist learns that her mother, Merry Darling, has gone missing, she returns to the mortal realm with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. They are ambushed, and their powers disappear.
As the group tries to evade the Witch Killers, the infamous Hansel reveals a secret that puts the Darling women in danger. The story blends a Peter Pan-inspired fantasy conflict with enemies-to-lovers romance and morally gray love interests. It will suit readers looking for dark romantasy, a fairy-tale reworking, and the conclusion to the series’ main storyline. The author recommends checking her website for content warnings.
