The girl was tortured before her death, and powerful forces soon begin pursuing the child.
This entry in Krueger’s Cork O’Connor series combines a murder investigation with an isolated setting and a threat to Cork’s family. Readers who enjoy crime fiction centered on a detective’s investigation, with thriller and adventure elements, will find a tense mystery in these circumstances.
