About Fate Be Changed by Farrah Rochon
Farrah Rochon’s 2024 young adult fantasy retells Merida’s story through a choice that sends her into the past. Facing an unwanted betrothal, Merida seeks help from a witch, but a magic pastry leads to an unexpected transformation: she wakes in a time when the DunBroch and MacCameron clans are enemies.
With Elinor and Fergus yet to meet, Merida must navigate the rival clans and try to change the course of events. Readers interested in fairy-tale retellings, magic, time travel, and romance will find those elements at the heart of this fantasy.
