About Timing by Mary Calmes
Stefan Joss heads to Texas in the middle of summer to serve as man of honor at his best friend Charlotte’s wedding, while also negotiating a million-dollar business deal. He is not expecting to see Rand Holloway, Charlotte’s brother and Stefan’s longtime adversary—but their familiar hostility gives way to unexpected chemistry.
Stefan decides to give Rand a chance after a sincere revelation. Their budding romance faces a serious challenge when the business deal takes a dangerous turn: the owner of the last ranch Stefan needs is murdered, and Stefan may be in danger too. Mary Calmes’s romance pairs an enemies-to-lovers relationship with business negotiations and suspense.
