About The Wrong Catch: A Football Romance (Deluxe Edition) by C.R. Jane
Set around college football, The Wrong Catch is a dark romance about Ophelia, who becomes fixated on Matty Adler, a star tight end at the University of Tennessee. She applies to the same school, hoping proximity to him will offer a fresh start. Matty, meanwhile, is accustomed to being watched—and finds himself drawn to Ophelia when they meet.
Their relationship develops amid mutual obsession and troubled pasts, while resurfacing secrets threaten their hoped-for future. Readers looking for dark, intense college football romance, with themes of fixation, desire, and complicated beginnings, may find this a fit. It is described as a follow-up to The Wrong Quarterback and The Wrong Play.
