About The Playmaker by Cathryn Fox
Cole is focused on recovering from a concussion and returning to hockey when Nina Callaghan, his best friend’s younger sister, asks him for lessons. Once a ballerina who was sidelined by a knee injury, Nina now needs hockey know-how for a romantic series her editor has assigned her to write. Cole and Nina have a history of teasing and friction, but their new arrangement brings a different kind of tension.
This contemporary sports romance pairs hockey lessons with a complicated attraction: Cole considers Nina off-limits, while his hidden agenda and long-held feelings threaten to change their relationship. Readers looking for hockey romance, enemies-to-lovers dynamics, and a story centered on two people with a shared past may enjoy this first book in the Players on Ice series.
