About The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett
A streetwise tomcat, a boy with a pipe, and a group of strangely educated rats set out to make money with a scam built around familiar stories of rats and pipers. In Bad Blintz, the plan meets an unexpected complication, and the rats face a danger that is no longer a game.
This fantasy will suit readers drawn to animal characters, clever schemes, and a story that brings moral danger into an apparently simple con. Its description hints at a darker turn when the rats must learn a new word: “Evil.”
