About Storm's Nightmare by Mary Stone
FBI Agent Amelia Storm receives a flash drive containing information her murdered brother Trevor had been given by a confidential informant. Its contents point to a senator’s reach into Chicago law enforcement, but Amelia’s inquiry into Trevor’s death is interrupted by another case: a young girl’s body is found in a car at a salvage yard run by the Leóne family, suspected of involvement in Trevor’s murder.
In this eighth installment of the Amelia Storm Series, the investigation asks whether the girl’s killer is connected to the mafia family or is a serial killer using its junkyard to conceal victims. Readers looking for a dark crime thriller with an FBI investigation, possible corruption, and a race to prevent another killing will find those elements at the center of the story.
