About Ra by qntm
Magic was discovered in the 1970s and developed into a field of engineering, with applications in heavy industry and everyday life. In qntm’s science-fiction novel, it is presented as the next major technology after electricity.
Student mage Laura Ferno hopes to use magic to reach space, succeeding where her mother failed. To understand what went wrong, Laura must investigate her mother’s past and question whether she is truly dead. The book may appeal to readers interested in speculative technology, magical engineering, and space-bound ambitions shaped by a family mystery.
