About Pot Shot by Laura Piper Lee
Nomi Wyeth wants to open a boutique cannabis dispensary in Sparrow Nook, New Jersey. After cannabis brought her relief from Crohn’s disease, she hopes to offer others similar comfort. Her plans meet resistance from Dr. Julian D’Angelo, a doctor with a long-standing dislike of weed who returns to town to serve probation at the medical practice next door.
Former high school rivals, Nomi and Julian clash over the proposed dispensary at fundraisers and City Council debates, while their irritation and attraction grow harder to separate. This steamy romantic comedy will suit readers who enjoy sharp-edged rivalry, small-town romance, and a story that brings cannabis and chronic illness into its central conflict.
