About Otherwise Engaged by Avery Keelan
A 2023 contemporary romance, Otherwise Engaged pairs a fake engagement with an enemies-to-lovers setup. After Thayer invents a boyfriend at a charity gala, her story spreads through their elite social circle—and her former enemy, Bennett Bradford, becomes part of the act.
Bennett needs a fake fiancée to help him secure an investor while a scandal threatens his business. Thayer and Bennett share a history dating back to high school, and their arrangement brings old resentment and undeniable chemistry into close quarters. Readers who enjoy contemporary romance built around fake dating, second chances, and a steamy romantic dynamic may find this a good fit.
