About Only for the Week by Natasha Bishop
Dr. Janelle Cross travels to Tulum as maid of honor for her sister Amerie’s wedding. The trip brings its own complications: the bride’s Bridezilla antics, family members tiptoeing around Janelle’s supposed feelings for her ex, and Rome Martin, the best man who has long tried to keep his attraction to her in check.
When Rome proposes a fling, Janelle agrees on one condition: it lasts only for the week. Set against a destination wedding, their romance blends vacation chemistry, family drama, a friends-with-benefits arrangement, and the possibility that a brief affair could become something lasting. It suits readers looking for contemporary romance centered on Black love, wedding-week proximity, and complicated loyalties.
