About Meet Me in Paris by Kristin Harmel
Set over a few spring days in Paris, Meet Me in Paris interweaves the lives of nine Americans and their intertwined relationships. Julia has brought her adult daughter, Piper, to the city for a final trip together as Julia faces a terminal illness. Their time in Paris brings new connections and difficult decisions for both of them.
Other storylines link present-day relationships with a past shaped by World War II. Songwriter Henry returns to France after learning that Celeste, the woman he loved as a teenager in wartime Paris, may still be alive; elsewhere, a musician confronts life beyond fame, and a woman considers her future after discovering her husband's affair. Readers looking for contemporary romance with historical elements, multiple connected perspectives, and a Paris setting may find this novel appealing.
