About Marlowe Banks, Redesigned by Jacqueline Firkins
After an engagement ends and her costume design is harshly criticized, Marlowe Banks leaves New York for Los Angeles, hoping to disappear into a low-profile job as a production assistant on a popular television show. But a costume mix-up puts her in front of the camera—and brings her into close contact with Angus Gordon, the show’s arrogant bad boy.
As Marlowe and Angus are drawn together on set, each begins to see that the other has been hiding parts of their life. This contemporary romance follows Marlowe as she faces old disappointments, including an ex who will not accept the end of their engagement, and considers whether she is ready to leave invisibility behind. It will suit readers looking for a romantic story about failure, forgiveness, and the possibility of starting over.
