About Making Money by Terry Pratchett
In this 2007 Discworld novel, former con artist and Postmaster General Moist von Lipwig is drawn into the troubled Royal Bank of Ankh-Morpork. The bank needs a shake-up, and Moist finds himself taking on its problems whether he wants the job or not.
As Moist tries to address the bank’s difficulties and the Royal Mint’s losses, he encounters an almost certainly vampiric chief cashier, a chairman who needs his daily walkies, and something unusual in the cellar. Pratchett’s comic fantasy turns its attention to bankers and the financial system, while Moist’s ambitious changes bring dangerous enemies. It is the second Moist von Lipwig novel and the thirty-sixth Discworld book.
