About Finding Mr. Write by Kelley Armstrong
After a string of rejections, Daphne McFadden submits her manuscript under the male name Zane Remington. The book sells at auction and draws public attention, leaving Daphne in need of a man to play her macho author persona.
She hires Chris Stanton, whose rugged appearance hides the fact that he is an accountant with no survivalist skills. As the book becomes a bestseller, Daphne and Chris go on tour together. Kelley Armstrong’s 2024 contemporary romantic comedy pairs their uneasy public act with questions of authorship, ambition, and the dreams Daphne wants to claim.
